Judy Desutter

Judy DeSutter, 73, of Manito, IL passed away at 10:35 PM Thursday, April 21, 2016 at Hallmark House Nursing Center in Pekin. Judy was born August 15, 1942 in Pekin to William and Lola (Bauer) Hailey. She married Charles DeSutter on September 28, 1963. He passed away on November 27, 2005. Also preceding in death are her parents and son-in-law, Jeff Weyhrich. Surviving are: one son, Kenneth (Linda) DeSutter of Pekin; two daughters, Donna (David) Lohnes of Wooster, OH and Linda Weyhrich of Manito; six grandchildren, Ryan DeSutter, Marjorie, Mark and John Lohnes, Hailey and Jacob Weyhrich; one brother, Don (Carolyn) Hailey of Kentucky; one sister, Joyce (Bill) Canada of Manito; several nieces and nephews. Judy was a member of Immaculate Conception Catholic Church in Manito. Judy and her husband farmed in Spring Lake Township for over 40 years. She later worked at Big Lots in Pekin for nine years. She enjoyed reading and listing to show tunes radio. She loved spending time with her family. A Mass of Christian Burial will be at 10:00 AM Tuesday, April 26 at Immaculate Conception Catholic Church with Father David Whiteside officiating. Visitation will be from 4:00 PM - 7:00 PM Monday, April 25 at the church with the recitation of the Rosary immediately following the visitation at 7:00PM. Burial will be in Meadow Lawn Cemetery in Manito. Henderson Funeral Home & Crematory in Pekin is in charge of the arrangements. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the American Cancer Society or Emmanuel Warehouse Food Pantry.
