Judy Clevenger

Judy M. Clevenger, 67, of Pekin, IL passed away at 5:26 AM Monday, October 7, 2013 at Pekin Hospital. Judy was born on January 29, 1946 in Springfield, IL to Clyde L. and Reta E. (Gaston) Clevenger. She was preceded in death by her father and sister, Janice Williams. Surviving is: her mother, Reta Clevenger of Virden, IL; one daughter, Gina (Jason) Anske of Pekin; two grandchildren, Kelsey and Noah Anske; three sisters, Sandra Clevenger of Windsor, IL, Beverly Barnard and Janet Clevenger both of Springfield, IL; granddogs, Boots and Oreo. Judy was of the Protestant faith. She had worked for Senator Dirksen and Senator Mondale on Capitol Hill. After moving back to central Illinois she worked at Vonachon Services and OSF St. Francis Medical Center. She enjoyed bird watching. A gathering celebrating Judy's life will be from 1:00 PM - 3:00 PM Saturday, October 12, 2013 at 2108 Brookview Terrace in Pekin. A memorial service will be held from 1:00 PM - 3:00 PM Saturday, October 19 at the First Baptist Church, 301 S. Grand W, Springfield, IL 62704. Cremation has been accorded. Henderson Funeral Home & Crematory has been entrusted with Judy's arrangements. Memorial contributions may be made to a charity of the donor's choice.
