Judith Ann Icenogle

Judith Ann Roby-Icenogle, 76, of Pekin, IL passed away at 5:59 PM Sunday, September 4, 2022 at Unity Point Health Methodist in Peoria. Judy was born on November 27, 1945 in Decatur, IL to Charles "Bud" and H. Bernice (Kerwood) Roby Jr. She married Phillip Icenogle on August 15, 1965 in Rushville, IL. Preceding in death are her parents, one son, Wesley Icenogle, one granddaughter, Katie Icenogle and twin sister, Joyce Gillette. Surviving are: her husband, Phillip of Pekin; one son, Christian (Natalie) Icenogle of Minooka, IL; one daughter, Buffie (Jesse) Griffin of East Peoria, IL; ten grandchildren, Brandon (Mary) Icenogle, Connor Icenogle, Courtney Icenogle, Jordan Icenogle, Blake Griffin, Kelsie Griffin, Chase Griffin, Nick Meyer, Zach Meyer and Allison Meyer; one brother, Gary (Binh Hoa) Roby of San Jose, CA; several nieces and nephews. She graduated from Rushville High School in 1963 and Passavant School of Nursing in Jacksonville in 1966. She was a Register Nurse working at various hospitals, nursing homes, as well as home healthcare. She also enjoyed being a Parish Nurse in recent years. Judy is a member of Grace United Methodist Church, United Methodist Women, and the Journey Sunday School Class. She enjoyed quilting, sewing, crafting, playing board games especially Yahtzee, and traveling. She and Phil had been on forty-four cruises worldwide. Judy especially loved her grandchildren and attending as many of their activities as possible. Memorial services will be at 2:00 PM Sunday, September 25, 2022 at Grace United Methodist Church with Rev. Eric Swanson, Rev. Robert Foulk and Rev. Janice Foulk officiating. Visitation will be from Noon to 2:00 PM Sunday, September 25th at the church. Inurnment will be in Lakeside Cemetery.
