Joyce M. Diggs

Joyce M. Diggs, 72, ofPekin,passed away at 10:15 pm, Tuesday, April 5, 2011 at Timbercreek Rehab and Healthcare in Pekin. Joyce was born April 5, 1939 in Pekin to Jules and Virginia (Landrith) Riviere. She was preceded in death by her parents and one sister, Norma Williams. Joyce is survived by three daughters, Karen (Roderick 'Buster') Parr, Joy (Michael) Morris and Tammy Duits all of Pekin; five grandchildren, Zack Hodgkins, Chelsea Morris, Taylor Duits, Maegan Krohn and Sarah Wyman; four great grandchildren; and one brother Arthur Riviere of Texas. Joyce was self employed as a day care provider for many years.She touched many children's lifes and was a grandma to them all.Joyce loved her family, they were her life. She was a member of Grace United Methodist Church in Pekin. At Joyce's request there will be no services.Private burial will be in Lakeview Cemetery.Henderson Funeral Home is assisting Joyce's family with arrangements.
