Joseph Dale Prowell

Joseph D. Prowell, 63, of Pekin, IL passed away at 1:22 PM Tuesday, November 2, 2021 at his home. Joe was born on July 31, 1958 in Benton, IL to Delmar R. and Louisa M. (Haas) Prowell. Preceding him in death are his parents and one sister, Karen Babb. Surviving is: one sister, Shirley (Scott) Williamson of Pekin; one brother-n-law, Carl Babb of Green Valley, IL and several nieces and nephews. Joe was a member of St. Joseph Catholic Church, UFCW Local #536 in Peoria and he worked in the produce department at Kogers in Morton, IL for over 20 years. He was an avid fan of golf, the St. Louis Cardinals and the Dallas Cowboys. Private graveside services will be held at St. Joseph Catholic Cemetery. Henderson Funeral Home & Crematory has been entrusted with Joes arrangements. Memorial contributions may be made to a charity of the donors choice.
