Joseph D. Parr

Joseph D. Parr, 42, of Pekin passed away at 6:13 PM Tuesday, Nov. 24, 2015 at Kindred Hospital in Peoria. Joe was born Aug. 10, 1973 to Joseph B. and Pamela (Rowlen) Parr. He married Nicole Candler on Sept. 19, 2015 in Pekin. He was preceded in death by his mother and one step son. Surviving are: his wife, Nicole of Pekin; father and step mother, Joseph B. and Joan Parr of Peoria; one son, Michael Arrowood of East Peoria; three daughters, Catie Arrowood-Parr of Metamora, Emily and Olivia Parr of Peoria; three step daughters, Tifphany, Raelynn and Breanna Candler of Pekin; one brother, Nathan C. (Mandy) Parr of Creve Coeur; maternal grandmother, Lucille Rowlen of Harrisburg, IL; aunts, uncles, cousins, and numerous friends including Jennifer Tabb. Joe enjoyed watching wrestling and was an avid Green Bay Packers fan. He loved spending time with his children and family. Funeral services will be at 11:00 AM Monday, Nov. 30 at Henderson Funeral Home & Crematory with Rev. Dr. John Spohn officiating. Visitation will be one hour before the services. Cremation will be accorded after the service. Memorial contributions may be made to the family to help with expenses.
