Joseph A. Breaden, 51, of Pekin, IL passed away at 3:38 PM Monday, February 17, 2014 at OSF St. Francis Medical Center in Peoria. Joe was born on November 22, 1962 in Pekin, IL to James A. and Dollie B. (Stubblefield) Breaden. He married Denise McAvoy on May 24, 2013 in Pekin. He was preceded in death by his grandparents, Joseph A & Louella Breaden, and maternal grandparents, Ernest C and Ophelia Stubblefield, his parents and a brother in law, Gene Gilbert. Surviving is: his wife, Denise of Pekin; one sister, Mary (Charlie) Gilbert-Layne of Pekin; one nephew, Chris (Lena Arthur) Gilbert; one niece, Cori (Eric Meyer) Gilbert; one great niece Aaliyah Gene Gilbert-Meyer, and many aunts, uncles & cousins. Joe was a self-employed Tattoo Artist. He enjoyed rock n roll music trivia. In his younger years, Joe was an avid roller skater. He was lifelong resident of Pekin and a proud Pekin High School Graduate. Cremation will be accorded. A visitation will be from 1:00 PM - 2:00 PM Saturday, February 22, 2014 at Henderson Funeral Home & Crematory 2131 Velde Dr. Pekin.
