John H. Weston

John H. Weston, 72, of Torrance, CA formerly of Pekin, IL passed away on November 1, 2013 at his home. John was born on December 29, 1940 in Peoria to Albert and Elda (Lutz) Weston. He married Purita Arzadon on November 14, 1994 in Arizona. His parents preceded him in death. Surviving is: his wife, Purita of Torrance, CA; one son, Bradley (Jennifer) Weston of Normal, IL; one daughter, Beth (Mike) Goeken of Bloomington, IL; one step daughter, Mara Crinklaw; ten grandchildren, Hailey, Morgan and Clayton Goeken, Ashley Rodriguez, McKenzie Shepard, Madison, Grace,Faith, and Mitchell Weston and Turner Crinklaw; three great grandchildren. John worked for Caterpillar Inc. in Peoria from 1963 - 1972. He then moved to Torrance, CA where he worked at Interface Welding in Carson, CA until retiring in 2004. John loved to travel around the country in his motorhome. Cremation has been accorded in California. A visitation celebrating John's life will be held in Pekin at a later date to be announced. Henderson Funeral Home & Crematory has been entrusted with the arrangements. Memorial contributions may be made to the Central Illinois Chapter of the Alzheimer's Association.
