John R. Tegtmeyer

John R. Tegtmeyer, 35, of Rt. 1 Browning, IL passed away at 11:44 pm Sunday, August 12, 2007 at his home. John was born in Pekin on February 2, 1972 to Kenneth and Shirley Hannig Tegtmeyer. He married Mary Bollinger on October 28, 2006 in Browning, IL. Surviving are: his wife, Mary of Browning, IL; his parents, Kenneth and Shirley of Browning, IL one son, Kenneth at home; two daughters, Lindsey and Jayde Tegtmeyer and one step-daughter, Leah Mustard all at home; two brothers, Michael of Pekin and Fred of Mt. Sterling, IL; two sisters, Dawn (and Robert) Steinbach and Tracy (and Steven) Dirst both of Manito, IL. John was employed at Excel in Beardstown, IL. He received certification in underwater welding in 1991. John loved dirt biking, hunting and the outdoors. Most of all he loved his family.
