John M. Jones, 52, of East Peoria, IL passed away at 2:12 PM Wednesday, January 7, 2015 at OSF St. Francis Medical Center in Peoria, IL. John was born on January 18, 1962 in Peoria, IL to Finny and Genie (Spooner) Jones. He was preceded in death by his parents. Surviving is: one son, Chris (Terra) Jones of Pekin, IL; girlfriend, Patti McCartney of East Peoria; faithful companion, Ginger; three step daughters, Stephanie (Jason) Scachette of Peoria, Erica Lawrence of Mapleton and Lee Ann (Marcus) Diaz of Peoria; eleven grandchildren, Wyatt, Paetyn, Dairyen, Karman, Darrien, Brooklyn, Jazmen, Andres, Marco, Andrew and Isabella; one great granddaughter, Jayde; one brother, Rob (Lori) Jones of Peoria. John was a flooring installer last working with Ron's Carpet in Peoria. He enjoyed boating and fishing. A celebration of John's life will at from 1:00 PM - 3:00 PM on Saturday, January 17, 2015 at Hat Tricks (next to Goodfella's) 1414 N. 8th Street Pekin. Cremation has been accorded.
