John P. Groezinger

John 'Jack' P. Groezinger, 61, of Dunlap, IL passed away at 5:22 PM Thursday, October 24, 2019 at OSF St. Francis Medical Center in Peoria. He was born on August 6, 1958 in Peoria, IL to John and Delores (Puthoff) Groezinger. He was preceded in death by his father. Surviving are: his mother, Delores; one son, Schuyler (Mary) Groezinger of Peoria; two grandchildren, Jocelynn and Trace Groezinger of Peoria; two sisters, Linda Groezinger of Dunlap, and Cheryl Williams of Peoria. Jack was a member of East Peoria Boat Club. He enjoyed boating, fishing and watching the St. Louis Cardinals. Jack was known for his kind heart and would do anything to help others. His greatest joy was his family, especially his grandchildren. A Celebration of Life will be held on Sunday, November 10, 2019 at 1:00 PM at the East Peoria Boat Club, 707 Collins Lane, East Peoria, IL. Henderson Funeral Home & Crematory is assisting Jack's family with arrangements. Memorial contributions may be made to the family to help with expenses.
