John H. Fardel

John H. Fardel, 89, of Pekin, IL passed away at 10:13 AM Wednesday, February 21, 2024 at his home. John was born on March 13, 1934 in Pekin to John T. and Frances R. (Tassart) Fardel. He was preceded in death by his parents and one sister, Betty Logsdon and his longtime companion, Dorothy Daugherty. Surviving are: two sons, Chris Fardel of Topeka, IL and Rocky Fardel of Pekin; three grandchildren, Zachery (Lauren) Fardel, Dustin (Dawn) Fardel and Dallas (Kendall) Fardel; one great grandchild, Zander Fardel; Dorothys daughter, Brenda Yost-Weber. John was served in the United States Army serving from 1956 1958. He was a policeman for the City of Pekin, retiring at a Captain after 20 years. There will be no services. Cremation will be accorded with inurnment in Lakeview Cemetery at a later date. Henderson Funeral Home & Crematory has been entrusted with John's arrangements.
