Jill Ann Reese

Jill Ann Reese, 56, of Pekin, IL passed away at 4:01 PM Thursday, May 12, 2022 in the emergency room at St. Francis Medical Center in Peoria, IL. Jill was born on July 29, 1965 in Pekin, IL to Don and Judy (Mullinax) Smith. She was preceded in death by one sister, Holly Henderson, her grandmother Madge Farrow and her childrens father, Jeffrey Reese. Surviving are: her parents, Judy and Don Smith of Pekin; two children Tyler (Chelsie) Reese of Pekin and Shawna (Billy) Fennel of Jacksonville, FL; four grandchildren, Raylynn, Bradley, Holden and Hudson Reese; three sisters, Lori (Matt) Wallis of Delavan, IL, Wendy (Jeff) Logsdon of Pekin and Taunya Drowns of Pekin. Jill was an auditor with Southside Bank in Peoria for twenty-three years. She was an avid Cub Fan and enjoyed hunting, fishing, gardening and cooking for family gatherings. Funeral services will be at 1:00 PM Wednesday, May 18, 2022 at Henderson Funeral Home & Crematory with Pastor Josh Beutow officiating. Visitation will be from 11:00 AM 1:00 PM on Wednesday at the funeral home. Burial will be in Glendale Memorial Gardens. Memorial contributions may be made to Pekin Union Mission baseball or TAPS.
