Jerry Mckinley

Jerry McKinley, 76, of Pekin passed away on Tuesday, May 3, 2011 at the Greater Peoria Specialty Hospital in Peoria, IL. Jerry was born on August 24, 1934 in Peoria, IL to James and Marie (Anderson) McKinley.Jerry married Gail Keefe on May 28, 1982 in Peoria, IL. Jerry was preceded in death by his parents and son Jim McKinley (February 2010). Surviving are his wife Gail; sons, Jack (Julie) McKinley of Port Orange, FL and Arthur 'Randy' (Laurie) McKinley of Pekin;daughters, Teresa Malmberg of Port Orange, FL and Tara McKinley of Pekin; and one granddaughter, Jacklyn McKinley of Port Orange, FL. Jerry retired from Caterpillar in 1997, after which he continued to work for Hoyle Transportation. Jerry enjoyed traveling, boating and riding motorcycles, although his greatest joy was spending time with his family. Cremation rites have been accorded. Visitation has been scheduled for Monday, May 9, 2011 from 5:00 PM - 7:00 PM at Henderson Funeral Home. Memorial contributions may be made to either the American Heart Association or American Diabetes Association.
