Jeffry L Nizzia

Jeffry L. Nizzia, 59, of Pekin passed away 7:40 am Monday, June 6, 2011 at his home. Jeff was born on November 9, 1951 in Peoria, IL to Delbert and Edweidyne J. (Kaufmann) Nizzia. He married Earleen Wyman on December 29, 1986 in Pekin. He was preceded in death by his father and one brother, Delbert. Surviving is: mother, Edweidyne of Pekin; two sons, Kenny (Carissa) Holeman and Jeffry (Ashley) Nizzia both of Pekin; one sister, Marilyn (Harry) VanWagoner of Rupert, ID; one half sister, Joyce Becker of Denver, Co; two brothers, Joe (Jill) Nizzia of Pekin and Anthony Nizzia of Pekin; five grandchildren, Breann and McKenna Holeman, Hope, Dennie and Jared Nizzia all of Pekin; three aunts, Geneva (Robert) Shelton of Bozeman, MT, Jotana Gardner of Livingston, MT andDarlene Honinger of Palatine, IL along with several nieces and nephews. Jeff was a member of Laborers Local 231 since May 21, 1971 and has owned OL' Dads Place in Pekin since 1983. He was a member of Eagles Lodge #1869 in Pekin. Jeff enjoyed woodworking and going on fishing trips to Canada with his sons. Funeral services will be at 10:30 am Saturday, June 11, 2011 at Henderson Funeral Home. Pastor Tony Darr will officiate. Visitation will be from 4:00 pm - 7:00 pm Friday at the funeral home. Burial will be in Lakeside Cemetery in Pekin. Memorial contributions may be made to the American Cancer Society or the American Heart Association.
