Jeanne F. Coriell

Jeanne F. Coriell, 80, of Pekin, IL passed away at 7:25 PM, Friday, January 26, 2024, at Carle Health Pekin Hospital in Pekin. She was born July 6, 1943, in Peoria County, IL to Francis H. & Evelyn D. (Waibel) Timke. She married Douglas Coriell on September 18, 1965. He preceded her in death on January 20, 2014. Jeanne was also preceded in death by her parents and two sisters, Joanne Timke and Janette Thomas. Surviving are: one brother, Allan Timke of Chatham, IL; three nieces (who always viewed her as their mom), Cyndi (Kent) Ray of Bacliff, TX, Linda (Vicki) Funcannon, and Jeanne (Jeff Boyd) Foster both of Pekin,IL; three sisters-in-law, Dorothy (Jay) Green, Kathy Coriell, and Diane Coriell, all of Green Valley, IL, and six nephews, Josh Green of Washington, Jake (Stacey) Green, Noah (Nicole) Green, Luke Coriell, Wylie (Shelly) Coriell, all of Green Valley, IL and Steve Coriell of PA; and many beloved great nieces and nephews. Jeanne was a member of St. John's Sand Prairie Church in Green Valley, IL. She worked for Ameritech and later at Patty Friedrich State Farm Insurance retiring after 27 years in 1996. She very much enjoyed shopping and then returning her purchases as an excuse to go out to lunch. Her greatest treasure was time spent with family, friends, and especially the kids. She enjoyed the many lunches and dinners with family and friends. She especially enjoyed attending sporting events for her nieces and nephews. Funeral services will be at 10:30 AM Tuesday, January 30, 2024, at Henderson Funeral Home & Crematory, 2131 Velde Dr. Pekin, IL. Visitation will be from 4:00 PM - 6:00 PM, Monday at the funeral home. Burial will be in Green Valley Cemetery. Memorial Contributions may be made St. John's Sand Prairie Church or a charity of the donors choice.
