Jaxson Christopher Harper

Jaxson Christopher Harper, 5, of Morton, IL passed away at 1:45 PM Monday, January 28, 2019 at his home with his family by his side. Jaxson was born August 31, 2013 in Peoria, IL to Corey and Brigit (Gafford) Harper. Surviving are: his parents, Corey and Brigit of Morton; one brother, Bennett Harper of Morton; maternal grandparents, Rich and Kris Gafford of Pekin; paternal grandparents, Edwin and Brenda Harper of Pekin; paternal great grandparents, EJ and Loretta Harper of Hopedale, IL and Gladys Kastner of Pekin. Jaxson enjoyed Mickey Mouse, music, books, fireworks, helicopters, trains and fire trucks. He loved spending time with his friends and family. A celebration of life service will be at 1:00 PM Saturday, February 2, 2019 at Henderson Funeral Home & Crematory, 2131 Velde Dr. Pekin with Rev. Mary Arnold officiating. Visitation will be from 4:00 PM - 7:00 PM Friday, February 1st at the funeral home. Private burial will be in Prairie Haven Cemetery in Pekin.
