Jason Ray Shelby

Jason Ray Shelby, 43 of Havana, IL passed away in a vehicle accident at 6:18 pm, Tuesday, April 25, 2023 in Fulton County. He was born to Everett R. Shelby & Cheryl Coen in Pekin on May 21, 1979. He is preceded in death by his mother-in-law, Mary Sally. Jason is survived by; his wife, Puriety Sally; his father, Everett (Julie) Shelby of Forest City, IL and mother Cheryl Shelby of Topeka, IL ; three daughters, Camara Shelby of Topeka, IL, Kara Shelby and Kamry Shelby at home; one step son, Dylan Sally; one step-daughter, Caitlin Garner; two brothers, Everett L. Shelby of Topeka, and Terry (Kassandra) Coen of Baytown, TX. He worked for 5 Star Water in East Peoria as a driver. Jason was a hard worker who would help anyone with anything. He was known for always putting others first. Jason had a talent to be able to fix anything. He loved his family, and they were always his top priority and purpose. He was greatly loved and will be deeply missed. A Memorial Service will be held on Tuesday, May 2, 2023 at 6:00 pm at Henderson Funeral Home & Crematory, 2131 Velde Dr, Pekin, IL with Rev. Jeff Leeman officiating. A visitation will be held immediately prior from 4:00 pm to 6:00 pm on Tuesday also at the funeral home. Cremation has been accorded. Memorials may be made to the family for the care of Jasons children.
