Jason "Jay" Guy Bratton

Jason "Jay" G. Bratton, 45 of Peoria passed away at 11:40 am, Sunday, November 20, 2022 at Loyola University Medical Center in Maywood IL. He was born to William Carl & Wandalea (Scott) Bratton in Atlanta, GA on December 12, 1976. Jay was preceded in death by; one son, Brock; his paternal grandparents; one brother, Robert. He was survived by; his mother Wandalea; one son, Bryson Bratton of Creve Coeur, IL; one daughter, Brianna (Edward) Robertson of Washington, IL; two grandsons, Kyler and Keagon Robertson; one brother, Drake Scott of Peoria, IL, and two sisters, Merci M. Cook of Elkhart, IN; Jennifer Bratton of East Peoria, IL; and maternal grandparents, Robert L. & Sharron E. Scott of Biggsville, IL. Jay worked as a mechanic and had a tree removal service. He loved riding Harleys, dirt bikes and four wheelers. He enjoyed fishing, old muscle cars, sunsets and ocean views. Jay loved food, especially leftovers, but BBQs and ball games were his favorite. He loved Rock and Roll. His greatest treasure was time spent with his grandsons and children. A visitation will be held from 10:00 am to 11:00 am on Saturday, November 26, 2022 at Henderson Funeral Home & Crematory, 2131 Velde Dr, Pekin. Cremation will be accorded after and a celebration of Jays life will be held at 12:00 PM to 2:00PM Saturday, Nov. 26th at IRVSRA Recreational Center, 1715 Dragon Drive, Suite B, Pekin, IL.
