Janice L. Hornback

Janice L. Hornback, 86, formerly of Pekin, IL passed away at 6:33 PM Wednesday, April 6, 2022 at Pearl Pavilion Nursing Home in Freeport, IL. Janice was born on December 2, 1935 in Peoria, IL to Virgil L. and Myrtle G. (Pyell) Tinges Sr. She was preceded in death by her parents. Surviving is: one daughter, Susan Lutke and one son, Daniel Hornback; one sister, Joann Haigh and one brother, Virgil L. Tinges Jr. of. Also, several nieces and nephews. Janice worked as Medical Secretary for Dr. Rudolph Grimmer for twenty-four years retiring in 1980. She was a member of St. Paul United Church of Christ, Martha Circle, M and M Sunday School Class and The American Lupus Society. She had volunteered at Pekin Hospital. There will be no services. Cremation has been accorded. Memorial contributions may be made to The American Lupus Society or St. Paul United Church of Christ.
