James Mcmillan

James "Jim" McMillan, 83, of Pekin, IL passed away at 1:45 AM Saturday, April 2, 2022 at Pekin Manor. Jim was born on October 21, 1938 in Pekin to Ira H. and Dorothy (Henrichs) McMillan. He was preceded in death by his parents, three brothers, Dennis, David and Howard McMillan, one sister, Donna (Louis) Weichbrodt, one niece, Anita McMillan and one nephew, Michael McMillan. Surviving is: three sister-n-laws, Sharon McMillan of Pekin, Jan McMillan of Texas and Judy McMillan of New York; three nephews, Kevin (Sue) McMillan of Pekin, Ken (Barb) McMillan of Florida, Damon (Maggie) McMillan of Texas and one niece, Angeline (Daryl) Brown of Texas. Jim was a marketing supervisor with Caterpillar Inc. for 45 years retiring in 2002. He was a faithful member of St. Paul United Church of Christ. He enjoyed architectural drawing, bowling, tennis, golf, softball and basketball. He loved art work and music. He enjoyed many trips to Door County, WI with his sister. Funeral services will be at 10:30 AM Saturday, April 9, 2022 at St. Paul United Church of Christ with Rev. Dr. Forrest L. Krummel officiating. Visitation will be from 9:30 AM 10:30 AM on Saturday at the church. Burial will be Glendale Memorial Gardens. Henderson Funeral Home & Crematory has been entrusted with Jims arrangements. Memorial contributions may be made to St. Paul United Church of Christ or TAPS.
