James P. Condis

James P. Condis, 91, of Pekin, IL passed away at 9:43 AM Thursday, January 08, 2015 at Pekin Hospital. Jim was born April 1, 1923 in Peoria, IL to John and Catherine (Ingolia) Condis. He married Pearletta A. Smith on January 16, 1953 in Pekin, IL. She passed away on May 7, 1985. Surviving is: one son, John (Pat) Condis of Pekin, IL; one daughter, Patrice (Kevin) Moehring of St. Louis, MO; four grandchildren, Jacob (Megan) Condis, Jeffrey (Melinda) Condiis, James (Tania Tarjan) Condis, Sam Moehring; two great grandchildren, Talon and Nadia Condis; one sister, Helen Oltman of Pekin, IL. Jim was a member of St. Joseph's Catholic Church.He was employed at Caterpillar Inc. for over 40 years. He enjoyed fishing, traveling and spending time with his family. Funeral services will be at 2:00 PM Sunday, January 11, 2015 at Henderson Funeral Home & Crematory 2131 Velde Dr. Pekin with Father Michael Andrejek officiating. Visitation will be from Noon - 2:00 PM Sunday at the funeral home. Burial will be in Lakeside Cemetery at a later date. Memorial contributions may be made to St. Jude Children's Hospital or St. Joseph's Catholic Church.
