Jacqueline Francis Roepenack, 89, of Pekin and formerly of Winthrop Harbor, IL passed away at 10:50 PM Friday, April 13, 2018 at Pekin Manor. Jacqueline was born on July 9, 1928 in Chicago, IL to John and Elsie (Radditz) Kallal. She married James Arthur Roepenack on August 20, 1945. He passed away on February 4, 1998. Also preceding in death are her parents, one son, Tom Roepenack, one brother, Donald and one sister, Audrey. Surviving are: three sons, Russ (Jill) Roepenack of Pekin, IL, Scott N. Roepenack of Albuquerque, NM and Tim (Kalen) Roepenack of Ocala, FL; one daughter, Jamie L. Abel of Rowe, NM; twelve grandchildren, nineteen great grandchildren and one great great grandson; one sister, Billie (George) Sweeney of Salt Lake City, UT. Jacqueline was of the Methodist faith. She was very proud of the fact that age 51 she received her GED on April 13, 1979. She enjoyed shelling and finding shark teeth with her husband while in Florida. She enjoyed raising and riding horses and also ran a sewing club and loved to make clothes for her kids. There will be no services, cremation will be accorded. Inurnment will be at a later date in Bohemian National Cemetery in Chicago. Henderson Funeral Home & Crematory has been entrusted with her arrangements.
