Jackie W. Breedlove

Jackie W. 'Jack' Breedlove, 83, of Manito, IL passed away at 9:35 AM Saturday, January 26, 2019 at his home with his family by his side. Jack was born on January 12, 1936 in Spring Lake Township, Tazewell County, Illinois to Alfred D. and Addie C. (Lowery) Breedlove. He married Loida Crosby on August 3, 1957 in Forest City, IL. Preceding in death are his parents, three brothers, one sister and one half brother. Surviving are: his wife, Loida of Manito; two sons, John D. (Carol) Breedlove and Kent E. (Valerie) Breedlove both of Manito; seven grandchildren, Larae (Donnie) Schimmelpfennig, Courtney Breedlove, Jordan Breedlove, Jennifer (Jeff) Hackman, Joseph (Rachel) Dolaz, Mandi (Scott) Warner and Brooke (Torey) Sledge; and nine great grandchildren. Jack farmed in the Manito and Spring Lake area all of his life. He was a member of the Tazewell County Farm Bureau and Central Illinois Irrigated Growers Association. An open house celebrating Jack's Life will be at the Fergies Pub and Banquet Center, 103 E. Market St. in Manito on Saturday, February 2, 2019 from 12:00 PM till 3:00 PM. Private graveside services will be held at Meadow Lawn Cemetery in Manito. Henderson Funeral Home & Crematory is assisting the family with Jack's arrangements.
