Howard E. Muller

Howard E. Muller, 91, of Pekin passed away at 11:43 pm Monday, November 5, 2007 at Pekin Manor. Howard was born May 20, 1916 in Groveland Township, Tazewell County, Illinois to Clarence C. and Frieda M. Fischer Muller. He married Vernadine H. Grassman in April 1939. He later married Martha F. Zehr. She passed away in 1974. He married Mabel Rowell on June 18, 1988 in Pekin. Surviving are: his wife, Mabel of Pekin; one son, Sheldon 'Bud' (and Barbara) Muller of Hardy, AK; one daughter, Beverly (and Jerry Sr.) Frank of Eureka, IL; one stepdaughter, Judy Nack of Pekin; seven grandchildren; five step grandchildren; fourteen great grandchildren; seven step great grandchildren; three great-great grandchildren; three step great-great grandchildren. He was preceded in death by a sister, two great grandsons and two step sons. Howard was a graduate of East Peoria High School. Howard worked as an auto mechanic, dairy farmer, general trucking and for Caterpillar. Later he drove a bus for East Peoria High School for twenty years and was an auctioneer. He was a member of Zion Evangelical United Methodist Church.
