Holly Stanton

Holly F. Stanton, 68, of Marquette Heights, IL passed away at 11:30 AM Monday, December 12, 2022 at OSF Richard Owens Hospice Home in Peoria. Holly was born on December 8, 1954 in Marshalltown, IA to Harold and Della Mae (Davis) Filppings. She married Robert Stanton on August 18, 1984 in East Peoria. He passed away on March 17, 2015. She was preceded in death by her parents. Surviving are: one son, Garrie Morrow of Peoria, IL; six grandchildren, Karson Purifoy, Kelsie Litz, Trey Justice, Kaiden Martin, Landen Martin and Nikeo Morrow; one brother, Owen Filppings of MN; two sisters, Verda of Des Moines, IA and Lanne of MN; and her pug Bella. Holly was a manager for Cottage Care for over twenty years, retiring in 2019. She was a member of the American Pool Association and enjoyed playing in area pool leagues. She also enjoyed collecting clocks and crocheting. There will be no services, cremation will be accorded. Henderson Funeral Home and Crematory has been entrusted with Hollys services.
