Henry L. Bequeaith

Henry L. Bequeaith, 93, of Eureka and formerly of Pekin passed away at 6:30 AM Wednesday, October 17, 2012 at OSF St Francis Medical Center in Peoria, IL. Henry was born on May 26, 1919 in Cincinnati Township, Tazewell County, Illinois to Lewis C. and Lillian (Friedrich) Bequeaith. He married Eileen Andrae on April 12, 1941 in Pekin, IL. She passed away on November 22, 2005. Also preceding in death are his parents and one daughter, Carol Lynn Bequeaith. Surviving is: one son, Larry (Sharon) Bequeaith of Peru, IL; two daughters, Marcia (Paul) Courtright of Washington, IL and Linda (Arrel) Seymore of Manito, IL; five grandchildren and six great grandchildren. He worked at A & P Grocery Store for many years. He and his wife owned and operated Bequeaith Greenhouse south of Pekin for over 50 years. Henry was a member of Trinity Lutheran Church, he served as head usher for many years and played on the dart ball team.He was an avid bowler and a proud member of the Cardiac Club at Pekin Hospital. Funeral services will be at 11:00 AM Monday, October 22, 2012 at Trinity Lutheran Church with the Rev. DR. Rodger P. Abatie officiating. Visitation will be from 10:00 AM - 11:00 at the church on Monday. Burial will be in Lakeview Cemetery. Henderson Funeral Home is assisting the family with the arrangements. Memorial contributions may be made to Trinity Lutheran Church.
