Helen Dale Deppert

Helen 'Dale' Deppert, 95, of Pekin, IL passed away at 12:55 PM Thursday, April 18, 2013 at Sugar Creek Alzheimer's Special Care Center in Normal, IL. Dale was born December 19, 1917 in Pekin, IL to Charles and Mollie (Underwood) Trimpl. She married Orville Deppert on October 3, 1937. He passed away on April 2, 1998. Also preceding her in death were her parents, one sister-in-law, and two brother-in-laws. Surviving are: two sons, Terry Deppert of Morton, IL and Keith (Patt) Deppert of Crystal Lake, IL; two grandchildren, Dara (Kip) McCoy and Brett Deppert; three great grandchildren, Larisa, Elysha and Kiara McCoy; two sisters-in-law, Viola and Marge Deppert both of Pekin; and one brother-in-law, Warren Freidinger of Pekin. Dale was a member of St. Paul United Church of Christ in Pekin. She had served as Sunday School Superintendent, teacher and was a member of the JOY Circle. She enjoyed music, dancing, bowling, the Ladies Lunch & Card Group, and Couples Dinner & Card Group. Visitation will be from 10:00 AM - 11:00 AM Saturday, April 27, 2013, at St. Paul United Church of Christ in Pekin. Funeral services will follow, at 11:00 AM, at the church with Rev. Dwight Borden officiating. Burial will be in Lakeview Cemetery. Henderson Funeral Home and Crematory have been entrusted with the arrangements.
