Harold Meisinger

Harold Meisinger, 84 of Pekin passed away at 12:49 am Thursday, May 1, 2014 at Pekin Hospital. Harold was born August 16, 1929 to Leonard and Luella (Timke) Meisinger in Sand Prairie Township.He married Betty Lawrence November 17, 1957 in Princeville. He is survived by his wife, Betty; one son Gregory Allen (Amy)Meisinger of Bakersfield, CA; one grandson, Nicholas Allen (Jamie) Meisinger of Santa Barbara, CA; one sister Lucille Knaak of Manito; one brother, William (Louise) Meisinger of Hackettstown, N.J; and one niece and several nephews. He was preceded in death by his parents; and two sisters, Marjorie and Lenora. He retired from the Pekin Public School District 108 in 1996 after teaching for many years. A private family memorial service will be held with Rev. Kevin Bueltmann officiating. Inturnment will be at Sand Prairie Cemetery.Henderson Funeral Home & Crematory 2131 Velde Dr., Pekin is in charge of arrangements.
