Gerald "Jerry" Thomas Allen

Gerald 'Jerry' Thomas Allen Sr., 75, of Pekin passed away at 10:33 AM Tuesday, February 06, 2018 at his home. Jerry was born on February 27, 1942 in Pekin to Edward Lee and Minnie (Arnold) Allen. He married Jacqueline Spencer on July 28, 1961 in Pekin. She passed away on May 2, 2007. Also preceding in death are his parents and two brothers, Ronald and Duane Allen. Surviving are: one son, Gerald (Denise) Allen Jr. of Pekin; one daughter, Jami Allen of Pekin; four grandchildren, Linzee Dietrich, Tarah (Jason) Gibbs, Brigette Allen and Jerilynne (Cole) Cunningham; three great grandchildren, Carter Gibbs, Kaiden and Koen Dietrich; his special cat, Zelda. Jerry was a driver for Waste Management for over thirty years retiring in 2003. He enjoyed fishing woodworking and watching baseball especially the Chicago Cubs. Jerry's family would like to thank Hospice Compassus especially Jacqui and Tara for their compassionate care. Following Jerry's wishes there will be no services. Cremation will be accorded.
