George A. Roberts

George A. Roberts, 64, of Pekin, IL passed away at 3:25 PM Sunday, May 3, 2015 at Timbercreek Rehab & Health Center. George was born on December 13, 1950 in Marquette Heights, IL to Ernest and Catherine Roberts. He married Patricia Hopper March 11, 1988 in North Pekin, IL. He was preceded in death by his parents. Surviving are: his wife, Patricia of Pekin; two sons, Leon E. Roberts of Farmington, IL and Gregory A. Roberts of Peoria Heights, IL; two daughters, Christina M. Roberts-Conley of Bartonville, IL and Michelle Nichols of Pekin; eleven grandchildren and four great grandchildren; three brothers, James Roberts of Oregon, Sandy Roberts of Creve Coeur, IL and Ted Appleyard of North Pekin, IL; one sister, Frances Sparks of Chillicothe, IL. George worked at IMT in North Pekin as a master machinist. He enjoyed fishing and mushroom hunting. There will be no services or visitation. Cremation will be accorded.
