George D. Richardson

George D. Richardson, 65, of Bartonville, IL, passed away at 11:57 PM on Thursday, October 29, 2026, at OSF St. Francis Medical Center in Peoria.

George was born on October 11, 1961, in Peoria, IL, to Raymond D. and Louise P. (Eades) Richardson. He married Robin A. Brandquist on September 25, 1993, in East Peoria, and they shared 33 wonderful years together.

He was preceded in death by his parents and his beloved fur child, Higgins.

Surviving are his wife, Robin, of Bartonville, and his daughter, Kaylee Richardson, of Peoria.

George was a member of St. Peter’s Lutheran Church in East Peoria. He previously worked for Illinois Mutual Life Insurance, where he most recently served in the mail room. In his free time, George enjoyed watching NASCAR and following the excitement of racing.

A graveside service will be held at 10:00 AM on Thursday, November 5, 2026, at Lutheran Cemetery in Peoria. Visitation will be held from 5:00–7:00 PM on Wednesday, November 4, 2026, at Henderson Funeral Home & Crematory in Pekin. Burial will take place at Lutheran Cemetery in Peoria.
