George E. English

George E. English, 78, of Pekin passed away at 9:05 am, Thursday, March 13, 2014 at his home. George was born August 11, 1935 in Washington, DC to Joseph P. and Julia (Crenshaw) English.He married Judith E. Moeller on June 1, 1957 in St. Paul, IL.She passed away December 17, 2005. He was also preceded in death by his parents, one son, Michael and four infant children, one infant grandson, three brothers and one sister. George is survived by one son, David (Heather) English of Pekin; one daughter, Barbara (Rodney) Mount of Delavan; nine grandchildren; two sisters, Joyce Waldridge of Bowling Green, KY and Betty Elkins of Wichita, KS. He was a member of St. John's Lutheran Church - Green Valley.He was a member of Pekin Radio Controlled Model Airplane Club and Academy of Model Aromatics since1966.He enjoyed doing genealogy. George retired from 21st Century Dental as a dental equipment technician.He was a Veteran with the United States Air Force. Funeral services will be held at 2:00 pm Sunday, March 16, 2014 at Henderson Funeral Home & Crematory 2131 Velde Dr., with visitation from 12:00pm - 2:00pm prior to service.Rev. Gene Ramsey will officiate.Burial will be in Arlington National Cemetery with military honors.
