Gary Lalock

Gary Lalock, 70, of Manito, IL passed away at 8:00 pm Tuesday, April 8, 2008 at his home. Gary was born January 11, 1938 in Peoria, IL to Joseph R. and Mabel E. (Hutt) Lalock. He married Patricia Butler on May 13, 1974 in Quincy, IL. Preceding in death are; his parents; one son, Mark Aeschliman; one brother, Joseph Lalock; one grandson. Surviving are; his wife, Pat of Manito; one son, Timothy (and Linda) Aeschliman of Delavan, IL; two daughters, Lisa (and Greggory) Knight of Pekin and Glenda Howe of Peoria; one sister, Dorothy Wright of Mission, TX; ten grandchildren and two great granddaughters. Gary was the owner and partner of Acme Radio and Television for 42 years retiring in 2000. He received a Masters Degree in Electronics from the University of Texas. Gary was an Air Force veteran serving during the Korean Conflict. He was a member of the Veterans of Foreign Wars Post 3883 and American Legion Limestone Post 979 both in Bartonville, Eagles Lodge Aerie # 1869 in Pekin and was a life member of the Peoria Sportsman Club. He was a Ham Radio operater since 1955. Gary's call letters were WA9YFA.
