Frederick "Randy" Ladendorf

Frederick 'Randy' Ladendorf, 61, of Pekin passed away at 12:25 PM Sunday, June 30, 2013 at Morton Terrace. Randy was born on November 11, 1951 in Peoria, IL to Frederick and Willamae (Meinders) Ladendorf. He married Aprille Moore on November 28, 1970 in East Peoria, IL. Preceeding in death is his father. Surviving is: his wife, Aprille of Pekin; his mother, Willamae Ladendorf of Washington, IL: two sons, Adam (Julie) Ladendorf of Goodfield, IL and Ryan (Missy) Ladendorf of Kansas City, KA; one daughter, Heather (Scott) Young of Pekin; seven grandchildren, Danielle, Maison, Lily and Jaxon Ladendorf, Kiersten Lucas, Emily and Leah Young; three step grandchildren, Blake, Amber and Courtney Sanders; one sister, Beth (Dennis) Doolan of Washington, IL. Randy was a veteran of the United States Army serving during the Vietnam War. He was a member of the First Missionary Church in North Pekin where he had served as a trustee and usher. He enjoyed golfing, hunting, camping, snow skiing and dart ball. Memorial services will be at 11:00 AM Saturday, July 6, 2013 at the First Missionary Church 124 Lincoln Blvd. North Pekin, IL with Rev. Tony Darr officiating. Visitation will be from 5:00 PM - 7:00 PM Friday, July 5 at the church. Burial of the cremated remains will be at 10:00 AM Sat., July 6 at War Veterans Memorial Cemetery in Pekin with military honors provided by the United States Army and the Tazewell Area Ceremonial Team. Henderson Funeral Home & Crematory is in charge of the arrangements. Memorial contributions may be made to First Missionary Church in North Pekin, American Cancer Society or Central Illinois Chapter of Alzheimer's Association.
