Frank A. Vidoni

Frank A. Vidoni, 77, of Pekin, IL passed away at 1:40 PM Monday, January 6, 2014 at his home. Frank was born October 31, 1936 in Chicago, IL to Arrigo and Anna (Danelutti) Vidoni. He married Eris J. Gustoff on August 29, 1964 in Pekin. Preceding in death are his parents. Surviving are: his wife, Eris of Pekin; three daughters, Valerie (Ed) Slack, Jill (Rob) Bucher and Stephanie (Scott) Hartung; three grandsons, Benjamin Bucher, Clayton and Alexander Slack; one brother, Eugene (Marsha) Vidoni. Frank was a veteran of the United States Army. He graduated from Bradley University B.S.M.E. program. He then worked as a consulting professional engineer including eight years at Vidoni and Associates and then eight years as Warren County Engineer retiring in 2001. Frank was a member of St. Joseph Catholic Church in Pekin, Knights of Columbus and a former member of the Pekin Elks Lodge. He was his grandsons biggest Cheerleader at their sporting events. Memorial services will be at 2:00 PM Saturday, January 11, 2014 at Henderson Funeral Home & Crematory 2131 Velde Dr. Pekin with Father Michael Andrejek officiating. Military Honors will be provided by the Illinois Army National Guard and the Tazewell Area Ceremonial Team. Visitation will be from 12:30PM - 2:00 PM Saturday at the funeral home. Inurnment will be at a later date at Glendale Memorial Gardens in Pekin. Memorial contributions may be made to a charity of the Donor's choice.
