Frances C. Witkowski

Frances C. Witkowski, 88, of 1520 El Camino Dr. Pekin passed away at 7:50 am Monday, July 7, 2008 at Pekin Manor. Frances was born April 12, 1920 to Frank and Sophia (Nieman) Witkowski. She lived her entire life in Pekin, and 80 years of that time at 1109 Maple Street. She was preceded in death by her parents and two sisters, Irene (Bob) Rowan and Stella (Wilbur) Osterman, one nephew, Larry Osterman and her long-time friend, Virgil Knollenberg. Surviving are one nephew, Richard (and Barbara) Rowan of DeKalb , IL , one great nephew, Neal Rowan of DeKalb , IL and several cousins. Frances was a member of St. Joseph Catholic Church in Pekin . She was very social and loved going out to eat with friends and relatives, and also loved to play cards.
