Floyd R. Jordan Jr

Floyd R. Jordan Jr., 46, of Pekin, IL passed away at 5:08 AM Tuesday, January 5, 2021 at OSF St Francis Medical Center in Peoria. Floyd was born on July 7, 1974 in Peoria to Floyd R. and Marla R. (Schuck) Jordan Sr. He married Meggan Orr on July 12, 1997 in North Pekin. Preceding in death are his father and two sisters, Sandra Jordan and Jamie Baugh. Surviving are: his wife, Meggan of Pekin; one son, Floyd Jordan III; one daughter, Danielle Jordan of Pekin; his mom, Marla Jordan of Pekin; two grandchildren, Evelynn and Lukas Burtsfield of Pekin; two brothers, Jeremy (Natasha) Jordan of Pekin and Hugh (Jessica) Jordan of Pekin; one sister, Monica (Mike) Wotton of Pekin; father-n-law and mother-n-law, Jon and Cindy Orr of Pekin; many nieces and nephews. Floyd has been active in Open Wheeled Modified racing in Central Illinois his whole life. He has been racing for over 30 years. His children and grandchildren meant the world to him. He was a true family man. Funeral services will be at 10:30 AM Friday, January 8, 2021 at Henderson Funeral Home & Crematory, 2131 Velde Dr. Pekin with Pastor Dan Hoehne officiating. Visitation will be from 4:00 PM 7:00 PM Thursday at the funeral home. Masks and social distancing will be required. Burial will be in Lakeview Cemetery. Memorial contributions may be made to the American Diabetes Association.
