Florence E. Krannich

Florence E. Krannich, 95, of Birmingham, AL and formerly of Pekin, IL passed away Monday morning in Birmingham after a long illness. Florence was born on June 10, 1917 in Sand Prairie Township, Tazewell County, Illinois to Henry and Sophia (Horne) Fuelberth. She married Louis Krannich on June 23, 1940 in Pekin. He passed away on May 7, 1996. She is survived by two sons, Larry (Beverley) Krannich of Birmingham, AL and Ronald Krannich of Woodbridge, VA; four grandchildren, Emily (Sean) Vanlandingham, Louis, Laura and Rachel Krannich; one great granddaughter, Olivia Vanlandingham; one great grandson, Gavin Vanlandingham; and one sister, Marie Limbach of Abbotsford, WI. She was a member of Mountain Chapel United Methodist Church in Birmingham where she was very active in their Hug-a-Pillow program and a member of the Amity class. Florence was an avid gardener and dedicated wife, mother, and grandmother who greatly enjoyed her family. Graveside services will be at 3:00 PM Tuesday, July 10, 2012 at Lakeview Cemetery in Pekin with Rev. Judy Doyle of First United Methodist Church officiating. There will be no visitation. Henderson Funeral Home in Pekin has been entrusted with the arrangements.
