Fern E. Ralph

Fern E. Ralph, 81, of Marquette Heights, IL passed away at 5:36 PM Thursday, December 22, 2016 at OSF St. Francis Medical Center in Peoria. Fern was born on January 5, 1935 in Princeville, IL to Forrest D. and Irene (Wilson) Potter. She first married Willis Lukehart and later married Loy Ralph on October 1, 1960 in New Shawneetown, IL. He passed away on December 13, 1997. Also preceding in death are her parents, one daughter, Lori E. Richardson, two grandsons, Wayne Hayes and Steven Abel, three brothers, Byron, Russell and David Potter. Surviving are: one son, Arlin (Brinda) Ralph of Pekin; five daughters, Debbie (Andy) Hayes of Washington, IL, Rhonda (Ron) Stalter of Morton, IL, Sandy (Jeremy) Richards of Pekin, Theresa Lukehart of Edwards, IL and Joretta (James) Coon of Kellogg, IA; one son-in-law, Rick Richardson of North Pekin, IL; twenty grandchildren and twenty-five great grandchildren; three brothers, Everett Potter of Peoria, IL, Floyd (Mary Jo) Potter of Princeville, IL andRev. Marvin (Marge) Potter of Newton, IA; one sister, Hazel (Lee) Fritz of Chillicothe, IL. Fern had worked for Tupperware in Peoria for ten years. She bowled on several bowling leagues, enjoyed sewing and doing word search puzzles. She was an avid fan of the Atlanta Braves. Funeral services will be at 1:00 PM Wednesday, December 28, 2016 at Henderson Funeral Home & Crematory, 2131 Velde Dr. Pekin. Visitation will be from 11:00 AM - 1:00 PM Wednesday at the funeral home. Burial will be at Imhoff Cemetery near Congerville, IL. Memorial contributions may be made to the Neighborhood House-Meals on Wheels Program or to the American Lung Association.
