Evelyn "Mickey" Williams

Evelyn 'Mickey' Williams, 83, of Pekin, IL passed away at 12:32 AM Friday, February 6, 2015 at Pekin Hospital. Mickey was born June 19, 1931 in Chicago, IL to Max and Katherine (Herron) Muller. She was raised by Robert and Margaret Herron. She married Donald Williams on January 5, 1952 in Pekin. She was preceded in death by her parents and step father, Clarence Olson. Surviving is: her husband, Donald of Pekin; two sons, Richard (Michele) Williams of Champaign, IL and David (Karen) Williams of Pekin; one daughter, Diane (Joe) Stubbs of Pekin; three grandchildren, Blake Stubbs, Laura Williams and Brenna Williams; brother-in-law and sister-in-law, Ray and Mary Smith; and several nieces and nephews. When her children were young Mickey was active in Mothers of Twins Club. She enjoyed cooking and vacations to Las Vegas. Her family and grandchildren were of the upmost importance to her. Mickey's family would like to extend a special thank you to her care givers, Brenda, Kyles's Care girls - Uli, Jennifer, Sue, Hannah, Pat, Tabitha, and Kathy.Also OSF Nurses, Heidi, Kara and Alana. Private services will be held Tuesday, February 10, 2015 at Henderson Funeral Home & Crematory with Pastor Johnny Creasong officiating. There will be no visitation. Private burial will be in Glendale Memorial Gardens. Memorial contributions may be made to St. Jude Children's Hospital or Easter Seals.
