Evelyn Minoff

Evelyn M. Minoff, 72, of Pekin passed away at 11:25 am Tuesday, August 21, 2007 at Pekin Hospital. Evelyn was born July 27, 1935 in Randolph, NE to Charles Henry and Gertrude Meisinger Woodward. She married Steve W. Minoff on February 28, 1954 in Green Valley, IL. He died December 5, 2000. Also preceding in death are one son, Randy Minoff and one sister, Donna Naffziger. Surviving are: two daughters, Ms. Carol Ann Davis of Pekin and Christy Lynn (and Dan) Roberts of Pekin; five grandchildren, Jason Davis, Jeremie (and Tonya) Davis of Washington and Stephanie (and Tom) Sullivan of South Pekin,Ashley Roberts of Peoria,and Andy Roberts of Pekin; three great grandchildren, Ethan and Andrew Sullivan and C.J. Davis. Evelyn retired on September 20, 1996 from Pekin Community High School after 20 years. She had work in the Media Center as a clerk. Evelyn was a member of St. John's Lutheran Church Green Valley and was in the Ephipany Society. She volunteered at Ewes Treasures and the Pekin Township. She enjoyed bingo, the St. Louis Cardinals, Pekin Community High School Basketball, reading and traveling.
