Evelyn Dailey

Evelyn Dailey, 86, 1520 El Camino Dr. Pekin formerly of South Pekin passed away at 2:05 pm Thursday, September 18, 2008 at Pekin Manor. Evelyn was born October 24, 1921 in Pekin to Arthur and Elizabeth Steckler Weber. She married Owen Dailey on May 10, 1952 in South Pekin, IL. He passed away on July 16, 2003. Also preceding in death are two brothers, Arthur and Jim and two sisters, Carol and Jean. Surviving are: two sons, Jeff (and Chris) Dailey of South Pekin and Scott Dailey of Pekin; two grandchildren, Shawn Dailey and Jennifer Thorne; one great grandchild, Brody Dailey; one brother, Ben Weber of Illinois; one sister, Nancy Riggs of Jackson, MI. Evelyn was a member of the South Pekin Congregational Church and the Ladies Trainman Association. She was an avid bowler for over 60 years and a long time member of the Pekin Bowling League.
