Eva J. Alexander

Eva J. Alexander, 84 of Pekin, IL passed away at 8:26 AM Saturday, February 02, 2019 at OSF St. Francis Medical Center in Peoria, IL. Eva was born on November 20, 1934 in Peoria to George and Ruth Marie (Hermanson) Zimmerman. She married C.R. 'Ron' Alexander on February 14, 1953 in Eureka, IL. He passed away on April 20, 2014. Also preceding in death are her parents, one grandson, Daniel Martinez and one sister, Florann Castello. Surviving are: one son, Carey (Brianne L. Cozart) Alexander of Delavan, IL; three daughters, Becky Humphrey of Liverpool, IL, Lori (Bob) Sexton of Pekin and Renee Alexander of Pekin; nine grandchildren and six great grandchildren; one sister, Kay Zimmerman of Florida. Eva was office manager for C.R. Alexander Accounting and C.A.R. Financial from 1967-2014. She was a member of Pekin Women's Club, Pekin Jayceettes and Bunco Buddies. Funeral services will be held at 12:00 PM on Thursday, February 7, 2019 at Henderson Funeral Home & Crematory 2131 Velde Dr. Pekin. Visitation will be from 10:00 AM - 12:00 PM Thursday at the funeral home. Cremation will be accorded after the services with Inurnment at a later date at Prairie Haven Cemetery.
