Eric R. Martin

Eric R. Martin, 55, of Pekin, IL passed away at 9:09 AM Saturday, July 4, 2026 at Carle Health Methodist Medical Center in Peoria.

Eric was born on July 5, 1970 in Pekin to Harry and Mary (Cullinan) Martin.

He was preceded in death by his sister, Angela Martin, maternal grandparents, Harry and Ann Martin, paternal grandparents, Bob and Emily Cullinan and aunt, Sally Shallenberger.

Surviving are: his parents, Harry and Mary Martin of Pekin; one son, Cody (Miranda) Martin of Manito, IL; granddaughter, Hazel Martin; token grandchildren, Dominick, Camdyn, Brayden, Raelee and Averi; best friend and partner, Diane Pheasant of Pekin; uncle and aunt, Dan (Collie Williams) Cullinan of Pekin.

Eric was a member of St. Joseph Catholic Church. He was an avid fan of the Chicago Cubs and Bears, Fighting Illini Basketball and NASCAR. He enjoyed riding dirt bikes, hiking and being in the outdoors.

Memorial services will be at 11:00 AM Monday, July 13, 2026 at Henderson Funeral Home & Crematory with Father Jonathon Butcher officiating. Visitation will be from 10:00 AM – 11:00 AM Monday at the funeral home.

Memorial contributions may be made to St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital.
