Elinor P. Williams

Elinor P. Williams, 87, of The Heritage Manor, 1028 Hillcrest Dr., Chillicothe, IL formerly of Pekin, went to be with her Lord and Savior on Friday, January 4th, 2008. She was born in Atterbury, IL July 22, 1920 to Leland Virgil and Flossie Fay Dawson Pratt. She married John Daniel Coryell on July 18, 1942 and had four children. She later married Edward Williams in Pekin, IL in 1960 and he died in 1972. Elinor was preceded in death by her husbands, her parents and her sister, Rosetta Abigail Peplow. Also by two grandchildren (Nathaniel Lance and Daniel Dean Coryell) and one great grandchild (Cory Lee DePeugh). She is survived by: one brother, Patrick James (Diane) Pratt of Chillicothe, IL; one daughter, Carol Lynn DePeugh (Ken) Thompson of Chillicothe, IL; three sons, Timothy Leroy (Judi) Coryell of LaCrosse, WI, Tilden Carl (Glenda) Coryell of Florence, AZ and Thomas Dean (Judy) Coryell of Mounds City, KS; twelve grandchildren; fourteen great grandchildren; one great great grandchild and many nieces and nephews. Elinor graduated as an LPN nurse in 1940 and worked at the Pekin Memorial Hospital and St. Francis Hospital in Peoria between 1940 and 1946. She was a member of the First Baptist Church in Pekin and lived prior at UAW Senior Center in Pekin.
