Eileen T. Beaupre

Eileen T. Beaupre, 74 of Mapleton, having received the Sacraments of the Catholic Church and surrounded by family passed away at 2:25 pm, Thursday, December 20, 2018 at OSF Saint Francis Medical Center in Peoria. She was born February 19, 1944 to William and Mary Elizabeth (Pedro) McGinness in Chelsea, MA. She married Joseph Beaupre on July 11, 1964 in East Boston, MA. She was preceded in death by her parents, and one son-in-law, John Bennyhoff. Eileen is survived by; her husband Joe, two sons, Kenny (Susan) Beaupre of Edwards, IL, David (Christopher Provyn) Beaupre of Chicago; three daughters, Deborah Beaupre of Bartonville, Mary Bennyhoff of Dunlap, and Ruth (Rod) Kubier of Longwood, FL; fourteen grandchildren, Crista (Brian) Altergott, Cara (Jason) Rushing, Madison Dusek, Kole Dusek, Reece Dusek, Mia Dusek, Dori Beaupre, Derek Beaupre, Steve (Shawnae) Brodkin, Scott Brodkin, John Cummings, J.J. (Raquel) Bennyhoff, Luke Bennyhoff, and Lexie Kubier; seven great grandchildren, Siena Altergott, Kaley Rushing, Noah, Conner, and Gavin Dringenburg, and Avery and Addisen Brodkin; and four sisters, Mary Ann Carlson of East Boston, MA, Kathleen Gross of San Diego, CA, Carolyn McGinness and Helen McGinness, both of East Boston, MA. She was a past Director of CCD and also taught classes at St Joseph's Religious Education for many years. Eileen was a wonderful homemaker, excellent cook and even better wife and mother. It was important to her that every visitor was made welcome and fed. She loved to read, walk the lagoon and treasured family vacations they took. Her greatest joys were her children and grandchildren, especially family gatherings and the dice and card games she played with her grand-kids. She has left, as a sweet memory, her gift of love and care for her family. She will be greatly missed and tearfully remembered. Eileen was a member of St. Joseph Catholic Church in Pekin, where a Mass of Christian burial will be held at 10:30 am, Saturday, December 29, 2018 at St. Joseph Catholic Church with Father Michael Andrejek as celebrant. Recitation of the Rosary will be at 4:15 pm, with visitation to follow from 5:00 pm to 6:00 pm, Friday, December 28 at Henderson Funeral Home & Crematory, 2131 Velde Dr., Pekin. Burial will be in St. Joseph Catholic Cemetery, Pekin.
