Edward Hieser

Edward A. 'Bud' Hieser, 66, of Pekin died at 3:00 pm Tuesday, June 1, 2010 at Pekin Hospital. Bud was born on September 24, 1943 in Pekin to Edward R. and Pearl (Drockelman) Hieser. He married Judy K. Maas on November 20, 1965 in Pekin. He was preceded in death by his parents and one sister, Carol Lohrenz. Surviving is: his wife, Judy of Pekin; two sons, Edward A. (Dorothy) Hieser of Norwood, NC and Troy Lee Hieser of Pekin; one daughter, Sabrina (Randy) Holmes of Green Valley, IL; five grandchildren, Marcia Salazar, Mark Sego, Angie Hieser, Randy Holmes and Rachel Black; two great grandchildren, Lila Salazar and Caden Sego; one brother, Mike Hieser of Pekin, IL; one sister, Janet Tennell of Pekin. He was a Veteran of the United States Navy. Bud worked as a truck driver for Caterpillar, Inc. until he retired. He was currently employed by the Pekin Park District at Lick Creek Golf Course. Bud was a member of Second Reformed Church. He was an avid bowler and fisherman.
