Eddy Dale Weatherford

Eddy Dale Weatherford, 63 of Pekin, passed away suddenly at his home at 3:30 pm, Friday, July 23, 2021. He was born to Edward W. & Marcella A. (Manion) Weatherford on November 2, 1957 in Peoria, IL. He married Connie Goodwin in Pekin, July 4, 1976. Eddy was preceded in death by; his parents, one son, Travis; and one grandson Jacob. He is survived by his wife Connie, one daughter, Tonya Weatherford of Pekin; five grandchildren, Dylan Weatherford, Emily Weatherford, Bryce Merritt, Logan Weatherford, and Hope Taylor; one great grandchild, Anna Rose Lara; and one sister, Sherry (Gary) Crum of Lewistown. He will be especially missed by his best buddy Billie his dog. Eddy was a member of the International Brotherhood of Boilermakers Local 60. He attended the Church of The Nazarene in Lewistown. He enjoyed hunting, fishing and loved to make people laugh. He treasured his family, especially his grandchildren and the trips they took to Busch Stadium to watch the Cardinals play. He was so loved by his family, and will be greatly missed. Private services will be held with burial in Shields Chapel Cemetery, Canton, IL.
