Earl Wilson Glass

Pekin-Earl W. Glass, 91, of Pekin passed away at 4:10 amFriday, January 25, 2008 at Pekin Manor. Earl was born March 9, 1916 in Princeton, Kentucky to Archie and Eula (Haile) Glass. He married Margaret Studyvin on July 4, 1940 in Pekin. Surviving are; his wife, Margaret of Pekin; one granddaughter, Erin (and AJ) Saling of Yorkville, IL; one great grandchild, Alexander of Yorkville, IL. Earl was preceded in death by his parents, one daughter, Barbara Ann Cooley, three brothers and three sisters. Earl was a welder for WABCO in Peoria for forty-two years retiring in 1978.He was a member of the First Christian Church of Pekin.Earl was a member of the International Brotherhood of Boilermakers.
